Aimpoint Duty RDS Red Dot Reflex Sight offers a bright, crisp 2 MOA dot that’s ideal for short to medium range target engagements. All new windage and elevation adjustments are flush mounted and waterproof, eliminating the need for protective caps. The turrets provide audible clicks when zeroing the optic.
The dot brightness intensity switch is a digital keypad with intuitive push buttons that can easily be manipulated while wearing gloves. The pressure forged aluminum alloy housing provides durability against extreme abuse and drastic temperature changes. The Duty RDS comes with a one-piece torsion nut mount that attaches to mil-std-1913 picatinny rails. The sight is fully compatible with all generations of night vision devices.

Good price and all the features that matter. I actually like the height difference of the optic because using a normally 1/3 cowitness mount will set you up for a 2” height suitable for passive aiming with NODs

Last week I was at the shooting range running our officer’s through qualification. During the down time I had several opportunities to shoot my AR with the Duty RDS. Set it and forget it! No adjustment screw caps to lose, no on off button to remember to turn on or off. Great red dot and mount.

Well worth the money, I trust my life to aimpoint and run their red dots primarily. Best quality for value red dot on the market currently. I also own t2, h2, pro, and compM2. Next up will be ACRO p2.

Small, lightweight. Dot appears clear at all brightness levels. Only had it for a short while but it is a must have on a patrol rifle
