I use this in a Savage Axis youth model 243 with 20″ bbl on the rand a .75″ group is easy at 100yds. Every shot taken on a white tail has been a kill easily. I use the youth model for the light weight and maneuverable nature of a shorter nvm rifle. with my covered 8rnd cartridge carrier, sling that carries 3rnds, 4 in the mag and one in the hole I’m able to carry 16rnds on the rifle all silent. the bit of weight is fine on a light rifle. Nothing but good things to say on this ammo. It’s always available always reliable and always effective.

Son harvested his 1st buck with this round last month. It was a shoulder shot and knocked the buck off it’s feet and he didn’t get up. I’ve used core-lokt for decades in several calibers. Still my go to ammo. The .243 round did not destroy too much meat, I was impressed since we’re meat hunters.

I have used this ammo on deer for 35 years. When placed right (top of the heart) deer drop in their tracks 100% of the time. No tracking necessary. Also, i’ve never seen a single Remington 700 in .243 Win. that won’t shoot this stuff. You won’t be disappointed! Highly recommended!

One shot kills on 7 consecutive wild hogs up to 150 yards. Sub MOA groups in Remington 700 BDL. Really like this bullet.
